A group of international participants visited Pragati Resorts as part of the International Training Programme & Climate Resilient Housing Technologies, which is sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Pragati Group chairman and managing director Dr GBK Rao addressed the participants of NIRD-PR (National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayat Raj).
Rao said more than 800 varieties of sacred herbal medicinal and aromatic plants were available at Pragati. Brahmamlika or Baobaob was a rare tree available at Pragati. It also housed a collection of rare species of cattle in its goshala (cowshed) that includes heritage cows and bulls of Punganur, Ongole, Gir, Sahiwal, Tharparkar and Kapila breeds, besides rare breeds of mountain sheep, said a press release
